The Brisbane New Year's Eve Ball was established in 1992 by a group of Brisbane friends on a wharf in Balmoral. Looking to create Brisbane's most notorious New Year's Party Bash, the founders were also seeking a means of giving back to the community.
The event has grown into a committee system which has raised an incredible amount of money for various charities including the Royal Children’s Hospital, Australian Red Cross, The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, Muscular Dystrophy, and more recently the Down Syndrome Association of Queensland.
